In March, during women's history month, we gathered 11 women who are making big impacts in our local community, and fed our souls.
We shared a meal, laughs, and stories as we reflected on what this year has brought, and what we need most in our communities.
Each of these 11 women are doing big things and showing up in (and for) their communities, and we can't wait to share how they can Feed Your Soul with Community! Read more below.

Her farming goals consist of mastering beekeeping, adding dairy goats to the farm, and teaching the community about sustainable agriculture. She believes farming is meant to be for the community."

Feed Your Soul with Lisa of Whole Health Design/Annapolis Juice Shop:
"I am a passionate holistic health coach, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate, dedicated to empowering individuals to take control of their health and live vibrant, sustainable lives. I use my unique approach to wellness, blending personalized nutrition strategies, cold-pressed juice and anti-inflammatory meal offerings, and mindset coaching to create lasting change. I am committed to not only transforming individual health but also actively contributing to the well-being of my community through education, resources, and my cold-pressed juice business, Annapolis Juice Shop. Through my work for the last 15 years, I aim to inspire others to embrace holistic health practices and create lasting impact, helping people thrive in mind, body, and spirit while fostering a more health-conscious and connected world. Imagine how wonderful and kind the world would be if we all took care of ourselves and others!"
✨ Fun Fact: "I’m beyond excited to share that my second book will be hitting shelves this year, and I’m gearing up to launch my podcast this spring—talk about big things ahead! With the heart of a teacher (I have a Master’s in Education and 15 years of experience teaching in the PG County school system before diving into entrepreneurship), I’m all in when it comes to sharing insights and tools about holistic health with my community. Knowledge is power, and I’m here to spread it far and wide!" ✨ Favorite Small Businesses: "I absolutely LOVE so many small businesses in our community! It is so hard to pick one! Lilac Bijoux, Mango + Main, Here.a.pop up shop, Fount & Flourish, ArtFarm, Magothy Therapy, Wildberry Farm and so many more are my faves."
Feed Your Soul with Ellen Lunay of HERE. a pop-up shop
"HERE. a pop-up shop is about to turn 13 & we have opened 50 brick & mortar pop-ups all over Annapolis. The shop features all LOCAL artists and makers in pretty much every category you can think of. We open 4x a year, seasonally, always with a new theme. This trending culture generates excitement and a unique shopping experience! We always create fun events & collaborations with other local businesses and each shop we give back to local nonprofits & organizations. Connecting people is my superpower. How lucky am I to bring together so many artists/creatives, customers, shop crew, restaurants and other small business owners in a fun, beautiful, inclusive boutique?!"

Fern has been part of the Annapolis community for 20 years!"
Feed Your Soul with Beth Kingston of The Kingston Home + Kingston Crafts "Beth is the owner of Kingston Crafts, a brand of papercrafting supplies that she created when she saw a huge gap in the market for products that reflect the world around us, not just the traditional crafter. Her collections are designed so people can see themselves reflected in their crafts and create projects that look like their families and community. Beth is also passionate about building community IRL (as the kids say) so she hosts in person events to bring together fellow creatives and to support women/minority owned businesses through her account The Kingston Home."
✨ Fun Fact: "Beth and her husband Don are pseudo-parents to seven midshipmen from the Naval Academy so Beth has become the world's foremost expert on 21 year olds. :)"

"Hi, I’m Tiffany Ogunwuyi, owner and candle maker behind Coco&Soy Candle Co. I founded the brand in 2018 out of frustration with toxic, synthetic fragrance products. My vision was to create clean, high-quality fragrance products that make you feel good—inside and out. At Coco&Soy, we blend clean fragrance, thoughtful design, and exceptional quality. With over 60 unique scents, we offer wholesale, private label bulk orders, and custom-designed party favor candles for special occasions and events. Sustainability doesn’t have to be boring, so we craft products that are fun, modern, and bold. Our mission is to create a fragrance brand rooted in self-care, well-being, and sustainability. I also partner with local Rescues to help raise funds and awareness through the sales of my Rescue Boxes."
